Le souffle de l'âme is a musical journey marked by the abrasive generosity of discourse and a carnal relationship with sound. The harmony of sounds and senses in Thierry Escaich's work, set against that of Johannes Brahms and other musicians involved in this approach, produces warmth and density of discourse. The organ improvisations comment on the emotion of the moment.

But we believe that these are window-dressing, contextual oppositions that conceal great musical links in the service of analogical thoughts, linked by an invisible thread.
